the worst first day

So yesterday was my first day at the paper. And I did not get off to a very good start.
But at least I got a good story. And you are lucky, because I am going to tell you all about it.
So I start off my first day with a large cup of coffee, which is always a good. And then I head out to my car and get it. Turn the key and I got nothing. So my car was plugged in, so I get out of my car just to check the plug and make sure it was right. So I pick it up and the part that you plug in falls right off. So this part.

So then I had to get a ride to work with the girl that I am staying with. Which wouldn't be so bad if my job didn't depend on my car.
Job requirement. Not recommendation.
So then my boss suggests that myself and one of the other reporters go over and try to boost my car. So we do, and no such luck.
So for the afternoon I am stuck being driven around. Which still worked out okay. Just not as good as your own car.
So we get home from work finally, it was a very long day.
And we were waiting for one of the girl's that I live with brother to come over to help take out the battery so that we can warm it in the house. Luckily her dad came too. And he suggested an easier option. He went and got me a new plug, paid for it, and put it on for me too.
But then when I went out to plug my car back in with my new plug. One of the lenses out of my glasses popped out with the cold.
So then we had to take a quick trip to the walmart eye place to get them to put it back in.
So that was the end of my crazy day.
And this morning when I went out my car started. And it was great.
