retail therapy

I would be lying to say that I wasn't a little bit sad to see my little sister get married.
Not because she got married before me, but because now she will be gone.
So in an unconscious attempt to make myself feel better, I have been shopping.
So it started off at Winners, where I picked up a fabulous tankini and a cute little note book for photography stuff.
Then to Smart Set, where there sales are fantastic, so I bought a pair of pants, a hoodie, and three shirts. All for the low price of $60. That's real good!
Then I went to Bluenotes, to buy my standard "nina jeans" and I also made off with a plaid pair of capris, and a pair of...leggings? I know, I don't know if I will wear them, but I own them. They were only $2, so why not.
Then to La Senza, where I didn't actually spend any money, just a gift card. But they had their lotions on 5 for $15. So I got those, and two lippies.
(I think I just made that word up)
Then I went to Sportcheck, where I bought a regular racing suit. This was my attempt at getting healthy. If I have the suit, I will have to swim in it.
And I also went to the Body Shop where when one made a purchase of over $25 you could get these cute little make up bags for only $5. So I have those too!
But it doesn't end there.
I also bought myself some new bedding, which is really nice, and was on sale!
So yeah, those were my purchases. And now...I have to stop!
On another note, which may lead to more shopping. My mom had to go in for more testing. We will get the results on Monday. I am really hoping it's nothing. But it could be something. So keep this in your prayers.
So I am going to shoot Heidi O's wedding on Friday. Leaving for Sundre on Thursday night, then the wedding is on Friday, then after the wedding I am driving back to Lloyd, to work on Saturday, then Sunday after work I am driving home to be with the family for Fathers Day and the test results.
So it will be a busy, expensive (man I hate gas prices), but good weekend. I hope.
Anyways, I am just taking a break from trying to clean my house. So back to the mop bucket I go.
