one year ago

A friend asked what I was doing one year ago. And since she technically asked on the 10th of February, I am going to tell you what I was doing on that day.
Because in all honesty on the 13th of February last year, I was probably just being sad and single.
So on the 8th I had been in Lloyd for just over a week, but I going home to shoot a friend's wedding. I drove in the worst winter conditions ever. There was so much loose snow and so it was blowing all over the road. There were points when I couldn't see more than a foot in front of my car. And somehow I made it home safely. My mom still doesn't like it when I talk about coming home that time and as a result she discourages me from coming home in the winter. I think I feel that way too though.
On the 9th was Sheldon and Rosie's wedding. Which like most weddings just about killed me. But I made some beautiful photos.
The 10th doesn't specifically stick out in my memory. But I assume since it was a Sunday that I went to church, played some games with my family, and edited photos.
I waited until the 12th to drive back to Lloyd and by then the roads were clear and much less blowy! My mom was happy about that.
