heidi - the animal rescuer

So I have recently started watching the tv show heroes, on dvd of course so I have been watching at a rapid rate.
Anyways watching all these super-hero's rush around and save people always makes me wish that I had some sort of super human ability.
Like flying would be cool, or maybe just teleporting.
That aside. I do appear to have some sort of strange ability. Animal rescuing.
Probably about a month ago, myself and our short-lived reported took a drive out the reserve to do a story. While there, we found not one, but two abandoned dogs. We brought them back with the intent of dropping them off at the SPCA, but when we got there it was closed for an hour for a staff meeting or something like that.
So we took the dogs back to the paper where we found both of them homes.
(Aside - I was given an update on one of the dogs today, he is happy and healthy, and his new family loves him)
So that is story number one. Story number two happened today.
I was hanging out at the park and sitting in one of the flower beds was this little black bunny.
Now my mom had always told me that if I could pour salt on a rabbit's tail I would be able to catch it. No salt was involved, but I did catch it. I just wanted to hang out with it for a little while.
One of girls from the park told me that the owners were actually trying to get rid of the rabbits, they had started with two the previous year and come spring this year they had 10. She told me that if they didn't find homes for them, they would have to kill them.
So I called my landlord to see if I could have a bunny, they said no, which I kind of understand, but don't like.
So then I carried the little guy inside to see if anyone else wanted him, and sure enough he also has a home.
So my superhuman ability must be animal rescuing.
I am going back out to the reserve tomorrow, so I guess we will see what I come back with. But I may have a puppy for you when I get home.
